The Toronto Transit Commission (TTC) is the public transport agency responsible for operating bus, subway, streetcar, and paratransit services in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. TTC is seeking enthusiastic and motivated students or recent graduates to join our Internship Program. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in various aspects of public transportation, including operations, engineering, customer service, administration, and more. Interns will work closely with experienced professionals and contribute to meaningful projects that improve the TTC service and enhance the customer experience.
- Assist in the planning, development, and implementation of transit projects.
- Support daily operations and maintenance activities.
- Conduct research and data analysis to improve service efficiency.
- Participate in customer service initiatives and help address rider inquiries and concerns.
- Contribute to the development and execution of marketing and communication campaigns.
- Aid in the preparation of reports, presentations, and documentation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve project goals.
- Perform administrative duties as required.
- Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a relevant post-secondary program (e.g., Engineering, Business Administration, Communications, Computer Science, etc.).
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Passion for public transportation and community service.
- Previous experience in a related field or industry is a plus.
