Responsibilities
  • Research and Analysis: Conduct research on public safety issues, emerging threats, and best practices in risk mitigation. Analyze data and information to support policy development and decision-making processes.
  • Project Support: Assist in the planning, implementation, and evaluation of public safety initiatives and programs. Collaborate with team members to ensure project milestones are achieved effectively and efficiently.
  • Policy Development: Contribute to the development of policies and strategies aimed at enhancing public safety and national security. Participate in policy discussions and provide recommendations based on thorough analysis and research.
  • Communication and Outreach: Support communication efforts by drafting reports, briefs, and presentations on public safety matters. Assist in organizing workshops, seminars, and public awareness campaigns to engage stakeholders and promote safety initiatives.
  • Administrative Tasks: Provide general administrative support to the Public Safety team, including scheduling meetings, organizing documents, and maintaining databases
Qualifications
  • Currently enrolled in a relevant undergraduate or graduate program, such as criminology, political science, public administration, or a related field.
  • Strong interest in public safety, national security, and governmental affairs.
  • Excellent research, analytical, and critical thinking skills.
  • Effective communication abilities, both written and verbal.
