The Table Tennis Canada Internship offers a unique opportunity for individuals passionate about sports administration and eager to contribute to the development of table tennis in Canada. As an intern, you will work closely with experienced professionals in the field, gaining hands-on experience and exposure to various aspects of sports management and administration.
Responsibilities
- Assist in organizing and coordinating table tennis events, tournaments, and competitions.
- Support the development and implementation of marketing and promotional strategies to increase participation and awareness of table tennis in Canada.
- Help manage administrative tasks such as data entry, scheduling, and correspondence.
- Contribute to the creation of educational materials and resources for players, coaches, and officials.
- Collaborate with other team members to facilitate grassroots initiatives and programs aimed at fostering the growth of table tennis at the local and national levels.
- Assist with the management of social media platforms and online content to engage with the table tennis community and promote Table Tennis Canada initiatives.
Qualifications
- Enthusiasm for table tennis and a strong interest in sports administration.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with social media platforms.
- Previous experience in event planning, marketing, or sports administration is preferred but not required.
- Must be currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a relevant program such as sports management, business administration, or a related field.
